IJSD welcomes incoming Co-Editors and V14 and V15 announcement

December 2022: The IJSD Editorial Board are delighted to welcome our new Co-Editors, Marisa Hayes (FR) and Sandhiya Kalyanasundaram (USA).  Together, we are currently working on themed content for the next two volumes due out in 2023 and 2024.  

Volume 14 will be curated by Katrina McPherson and Douglas Rosenberg, honouring the legacy of British television producer and screendance champion, Bob Lockyer, and opening out into a broader discussion of screendance as a creative medium in the context of television.

Volume 15 considers screendance works and practices in relation to feminist film theories: we are currently enjoying the vast scope of this as a topic, and considering where our focus might land.

We welcome submissions on either topic; and, alongside the themed material, as always we welcome papers on a rolling, open submission basis, on any topic of relevance in the context of an international, artist-led journal exploring the field of screendance. Submissions information is here
